2) I have a shiny new header and pages/tabs above (courtesy of Carolyn) (didn't she do a lovely job?!), but the pages are empty. I'll be working on them, too, over the next few days. Still tinkering, with the help of friends, as I'm technologically challenged. (aren't our blogs always a work in progress?) (I need to learn HTML) (that's never gonna happen) (I hate using the word 'never') (but perhaps in this case it will work some kind of reverse psychology magic on me thus insuring I actually make the time to learn it) (please, who am I kidding?)
3) We're getting pummeled with snow here in NJ. This should put me in a cozy writing zone, but the Kid and Husband are home due to massive storm. Thus, I *might* treat myself and go the lazy route, flop on the couch and have me a viewing marathon watching this:

4) It appears I'm in the mood to watch shows that only lasted one season. But, in both cases, I am of the opinion that those TV execs should be flayed.
5) There were some pretty raunchy images for 'flayed'. I spared you, dear friends.
6) I am apparently the place blog awards go to die. It's not that I'm ungrateful, for I truly am honored. I am just ridiculously busy and behind on everything.

8) Did you know that when a book is open the right page is called a recto and the left page (or flip side of the recto) is called the verso? Rectos are always odd-numbered, versos always even-numbered.

Your kitten is now a very pretty kitty!! Enjoy the snow day. It's good just to let things be and chill out once in a while. I need to allow myself to just relax and watch a movie sometimes. Actually I could have yesterday but I opted for a much needed nap! :)

Number 8 is wild. I didn't know that. Don't you love it when your kids bring home stray kittens. Only to learn it has ringworms. Then you get to spend way too much money at the vets. Then to top it all off you are the only one who gets ring worm from the kitten after a solid month of giving him daily baths with the 50 dollar shamppo. UHH anyway I hope youget all the things done you want to. ;)

Yay for Moonlight! I loved that series--so sad it was cancelled! I'm deep in revisions, too. But it will be over soon!
You can definitely learn HTML. As Kris says, it's beginning and ending each thing you post. And Blogger makes it easier, too.

Loving the new look. I love re-designing my blog (I did it accidently last time and have no idea how I managed it). I was more of a Blood Ties fan than Moonlight fan. They were on the same time over here, so I had to choose.
Lookis like you are getting all the snow we had last month. Enjoy it before you get sick of the sight of the stuff. Interestingly new writing for me is set in the snow of December/January that we had. Funny the things which inspire you.

It is my secret shame that I have yet to watch Firefly! I love Nathan Fillion, and I'm so looking forward to it...just need to find the time!
let's get serious here. They should really just make a channel on cable that's the firefly channel. They would just play the show and the movie continuously. It would be full of win.

My revisions are going slowly, but steady (for me, anyway). Steady meaning I'm actually doing revisions on the weekends.

I'm actually on hiatus from the blog, supposed to be in revisions. I am, but I needed a break. It's snowing again and I'm depressed.
Working on revisions for two books and writing a third. I must be out of my mind.
Ah revision limbo, it can be such a lonely place to be! Firefly is my absolute favorite show of all time besides Buffy and I agree the execs should be flayed! It died long before it's time. And wow, that kitty grew FAST!
Well, you probably already know my love of Firefly. Siigh. Still miss it. Like Anne G. I engoy a Jane Austen marathon, too. If I watch too much though, all my characters suddenly have English accents.

Good luck with prepping your WIP for crit. I loved Moonlight. Mick was yummy. I haven't seen firefly, but in my bloggy travels, I've seen it referenced and praised so much I'm going to add it to the Netflix list.

Hmm, my writing? I’m doing pretty good actually, recovering from ‘writer’s block’ over Christmas. I’m 30,000 into a book with an approx ending of 85/90k, so not bad considering and since I’m doing good on my daily word count, I’m hoping to be done soon and on to the next book in my historical/fantasy series.
I recommend a marathon of Firefly followed by the movie Serenity!

I watched Serenity a couple of times over the weekend. I too love Captain Tightpants.
Just finished novel #5. By 'finished' I mean that I'm now waiting on my wife reading it and depending on what she says I may be a) jumping for joy, b) rewriting like crazy or c) curled up in a ball and swearing I'll never write anything ever again.
That's so funny! I've just finished watching the Firefly sorta season over again (for the zillionth time). And I agree with the flaying of execs for both those shows... and I still haven't gotten completely over the cancellation of My So Called Life all those years ago. (Yes, I hold a grudge... a lot when it comes to people taking away great television shows. Okay, add Angel to that list, too.)

I loved Moonlight! Sadly, I didn't know about it while it was on the air. I just found out about the show a couple of years ago, and once I watched the first season I was so sad. I can't believe they canceled it! Figures...

Your cat is adorable. We have a grey tabby and she was not even 2 pounds when we brought her home, now her belly hangs down and she lounges around soaking up the sun all day! I just started a new thriller, I am only 20 pages in and I love it. I think it is one of the best story lines I have ever come up with. I will keep u posted!

Hope you went with Firefly. Oh why, oh why, oh why was it brutally cancelled after one season? Whenever I get too nostalgic for it, I go listen to the theme song on Youtube. Pathetic, I know, but I really loved that show.

You have the most adorable cat EVER. (Well, at least, the second most adorable. My lovely kitty always comes first.) I also whole-heartedly agree that Moonlight should never have been cancelled. It was an excellent show. Funny thing is, as gorgeous as Alex O'Laughlin (spelling?) is none of his shows seem to last more than a season.
