Proof of Life (or, HELP, I'm getting FAT!)

Hi Friends!

I only have a second to throw this mini-post up....I promise some better photos and a proper post soon, but here are a couple pictures of dinner last night at Federal Jacks brew pub in Kennebunkport (pix taken w/ my iphone, therefore grainy):

First up, this is Husband's summer brew sampler:

Next up, my dinner:

He was tasty!

I, sadly, have not had a single minute to write or read...but I have taken some gorgeous photos, which I will share when I have time.

Also, I have done some mad shopping, and I believe my Contest Prize has been purchased and of questionable taste!

I hope this finds you all well, writing and enjoying life!

I'll take the brew sampler, please! But no lobster for me. When I was 5 and visiting my grandparents, they let me pick out a lobster. I thought he was going to be my pet. Instead, he was dinner.

Never been able to look at them the same way. :-(

Glad you're having fun! Enjoy yourself--don't worry about the book stuff.

Lol, also not a seafood person, but looks like you are enjoying the high life for a bit! Lucky you! Hope you have a wonderful time! :)

I don't *do* lobster, but can appreciate the delicacy of being on vacation. Looks like you're having fun. Looking forward to pics!

WOW!!! I would love the Summer brew sampling as well... and aren't lobsters the most beautiful color after they are prepared? Glad he was yummy!!

I look forward to more pictures and your questionable contest prize!! Lola never disappoints ;)

That lobster looks pretty good. I've never had it before because I can't figure out how to eat it. And I'm also afraid I might poke myself in the eye with it.

I would be on the floor singing sailor songs if I attempted that brew sampling. But it looks like you had a great time!

It all looks delish! Summer gets busy, I'm behind on my writing too, and blog checking. Glad you enjoyed Mr. Lobster!

That lobster is huuuuge, was it genetically modified?!! Looks like you're having a good time, and it's good to have a break from writing now and then (that's what I tell myself).

Wow, that's a lot of beer! I don't eat lobsters, but my husband does and he would think it looks yummy!

LOBSTERRRRR! Having grown up by the sea, I really really miss lobster! Yum. A little garlic butter and it's oh so good.

Looks like you're having a fab time.

Oh wow!! Look at all that yummy beer!!!!! Cheers and chin chin all round!

I am waving to the lobster! LOL!

Great to know you are shopping like mad! LOL!!! And so you should!

Take care

I can't eat lobster when it looks like that. I need it to be carved up or something. Actually, I've had a difficult time eating lobster since my son told me it's a bug.

But, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

It all looks delicious. A vacation is meant to be decadent, right?

Brew samplers and lobster--can I live with you? And in the morning, I'll make WAFFLES! (sorry...have always wanted to insert that line into something since I saw "Shrek" when I was younger)

I'm on Long Island now, visiting family and getting in some beach time. I'll be in Maine in a few weeks - can't wait for my lobster!

Do you have ANY idea how jealous I am of a beer sampler and lobster dinner? I'm glad you are enjoying it so much... I expect to live vicariously in DETAIL.

Despite the longer days summer has a way of sucking our time away. I too have had a harder time writing and reading with so much to do. But hey, summer also brings up great things like lobster! Boy did he look good!

I love lobster!! I have a love/hate relationship with brew samplers because there's at least half that make me want to gag. I'm not a real hoppy beer person.
