March Madness...the lost hour

It seems I have misplaced an hour. I've searched everywhere.

Under the bed...

I wish it was that easy, but alas, it was not there. I looked upstairs and down...still I couldn't find it.

So I looked outside...

I looked everywhere...

Where did the time go?

Well, I'm not sure where the lost hour went, but, I know this...

I'm going to make the best use of my time today....

even though it is STILL raining...

Happy Monday...make every hour yummy!
Love,
Lola

I've been looking for that hour for more than a year! Actually several hours.

I'm sending you bright sunny thoughts as it is still raining where you are. Happy day!

Man, I want to live in your house! I was thinking this morning if anyone has ever not realized the time changed for longer than a day or two--how long could you use the excuse "Oh I forgot the clock moved forward?" My son and I have decided that we do not accept waking up in the dark again. We are boycotting daylight savings, but sooner or later we're going to have to conform.

Did you happen to find my missing days while you were looking around? Man, it flies.

Beautiful post, beautiful pictures. I am dead tired from the time change. *Yawn*

So my body clock was so thrown off (and I had a million things running through my mind) that I couldn't sleep last night. I got up and did some work...the next thing I knew it was 6:30 AM! Luckily I am my own boss and had already cranked out a pretty killer day of work in the night, so I went to bed and slept until 1 PM.

You make this whole lose an hour thing more palatable. Lovely post on your very lovely blog. :)

Picturesque journey. Thanks for taking us along.

Time feels warped lately. This daylight savings thing deserves to be rethought. I feel discombobulated completely.

Waking up in the DARK (again) really bites. I want to boycott it too.

Nah, I didn't find anyone else's missing hour either. Sorry.

I'm guessing those rascals will turn up in the fall. ;o)

I LOVED this creative post!!!!! Pics were fantastic and I smiled more with each image.

My daughter said at breakfast this morning, "It's so dark outside!" I said it's because we sprang ahead over the weekend. She asked why we spring ahead. I said because otherwise the sun will shine in the summer at four in the morning. She didn't hesitate before asking, "Then why don't we spring ahead IN THE SUMMER?"

Good point, I thought.

Happy Spring, Lola!
((hugs)) Nicole

My name is Lola. (I'm not a showgirl) Yes, L-O-L-A Lola. It's the least of my worries. Let's move on, shall we? This blog is mostly about my misadventures on the journey to publication and beyond. My passion for lush prose, quirky characters, art, music, literature, performing arts and anything creative will be a major theme here. This journey of mine will not always be pretty. Much like rubbernecking a train wreck, I know sometimes you just can't help but look at the carnage that is often my life. So strap on your neck brace, helmet and 5-point harness and come along for the ride! Licentia poetica.
